Kids are Back to School

Well you can see our Christmas was great!!!! Matt and I had off and we were all together. It was a really nice Christmas. I missed going to Pa but I hope next year we are able to. I miss my family.

I hope everyone else had a Very Blessed Holiday!!!!!!!!

I didn't notice Hope was over my head until I saw this pic. Anyway lost count on what career I am on-My Best friend Wendy said the average person has 5 careers in their life---My mom always said I was average.

So I finally got thru the part-time Basic Police Academy in Pittsford Vermont. Not easy for my ever aging brain!!!! I am Special Deputy Prouty. I will loose the special as soon as I finish 100hours of FTO program---Momma always said I was SPECIAL, too!!

I am also working as Sub for Rutland Public Schools, transporting prisioners at night and part-time on call Respit Care Provider---oh and mom - when I have time wife!

Life changes so fast-hope I can keep up.

OUT OF SCHOOL-AT LAST

I hear some parents are upset to have the kids home-I love having them here. I love having them with me and spending time together. The are great Kids! The all did very well in school this year-esp the end-I think it may be because I was home-yes the cafe closed-that sucked-but I get to be home now and I am trying to enjoy every min-allot of sad event have happened this year that have forced me to grow up a bit and also brought me closer to knowing God is always right next to me-and you too probably-but you know I like to think it is all about me -hehe.
So Kyle really picked it up and he got the A.C.E. award and the presidential Fitness Award-top honors-he wants to go the West Point someday. He had a graduation thing at school but didn't tell me when it was-he thought it was stupid to graduate 6th grade-maybe so-but oh well-we missed it. Paige got all B's and one A. She is smart-hard year-girls are mean in school but I think we are ok now. The boys did great-Henry starts 3rd in a big school next year an Spencer in 2nd! All are healthy and looking forward to alot of swimming!!!!!!-neighbor got a new pool-yeah for us!
We are Remembering all we have lost but not forgetting all we still have!!

No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

Last Sunday June ? -Ok I may not remember dates well but I do and will remember that day! Woke up praying for the Peck's and their family. So I decided to go over to see my friend Diane who I saw the night before - her grandmother had just come home from the hospital and was not doing well. I talked her into going to the store and gettin out awhile - she was gone 45 mins and as she pulled back into her driveway her grandmother had taken her last breath-I was a bit upset to say the least. I feel blessed I was able to read psalms and pray for her to have some relief from all of the pain she had been experiencing. Then Diane came in and we screamed and cried spoke with the police, emergency workers, and funeral director and it was over. That is how it goes in the end - we carry it but they get to let it go. Through the grace of God I am learning to let go more and more and I have never had any peace -I am enjoying what I am allowing God to give me-just need to give up more control!!!! TIME--------So on to the monkey-you would think my day would have gotten better. IT DID NOT! Went to the store again with Diane to get food-we knew many would be by the house today-as soon as we had gotten home-food in the house-Kyle and Ethan were running to us yelling "Spencer is hurt-his pee-pee is hurt!" I never ran so fast in all my life - what now-I got to him he was in a panic and yes bleeding and chaos! ended up he had been jumping from his bed to Henry's and landed on the post----He just missed his penis(thank you God) cut his scrotum and leg-5 stitches. He was fine - is fine---but not a lesson was learned-this morning we are going to get his stitches removed-I went in to changed the bandage and what do you think he was doing------JUMPING ON THE BED! I said "Spencer what are you doing?" he said "Come on it won't happen again!" Kids-that is all I can say-KIDS!!!!
You know I would be a great mother if it were not for all theese kids!

In God's Hands

This is where I am putting it all-please pray for my next steps in the cafe. It is starting to look up-business is getting better, but there is new drama-please pray for God to speak to me and guide me. I know it will turn out and his best will come! I will update as soon as I can share!

Parting is such sweet sorrow

Parting is such sweet sorrow. We do get attached-this stove has been here since the start and with two healings and some loving it turned out to do an ok job. We will miss the stove --But our it's space is not empty-thanks to The Parkers--we have another slightly used beaut!!! it will not be the same but we will get on ........I guess-the workers said their goodbyes---

I like going to the Hope Cafe' becuase I have a lot of friends there and I love to cook!I can't wait till' we get a new dish washer for the cafe' so I don't have to wash em'!

My Doggie-BRUTUS

Brutus shoud be a drug dog-he can sniff out anything -- I think he is a better sniffer than Riley--sorry King Riley the Super Dog. My dog is small but fierce and watch out if he is after you-he attacks on command. I love my dog!!!!

Everyone should have a dog like mine---He is a minpin/pug--which means MUT!

What to say.......

Why don't they sell the toilet seat that fits the toilet with the toilet????? This is something that really bothers me-I have purchased 3 toilets this past year and they were all different sizes------stupid!!!!!! It is obvious I did not select the right seat for the last and everyone has pointed this out---"REALLY"-I say-"Thank you" but they never want to help me and get me a new one-so when pointing out the obvious (everyone reading this) have a better suggestion don't just point it out--act on it!!!!!! Lighten the load of someone else-don't be a loader!

Tough Love vs. Spanking ~(a psychological conundrum) Most of America's populace think it improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control my kids when they have one of "those moments." One that I found effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk. They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our car ride together. He He He-----It's Me

I still know my password which is a great accomplishment for me! Anyway tell me how you have been-right now I have had enough of listing to how I am!!!!! Well, I decided to describe the main characters of my life......they are are much more interesting than I am and with out them I would have no character. Now just who should I tell you about first? Jamin may want to know how I would describe her but I think I will make her sweat!


Daily Main Actors in my Life-

Matthew Prouty-My Husband and Bestest friend in the whole world! Well what can I say-most think I don't even like him because of how I may speak to him. Most of the time and I mean most of the time I am not even being mean-what people perceive is much differently than what I mean or what Matt even takes it as....Anyway he is the Love of my life, my true rock, my soul mate! I love him more than I love myself and I am truly blessed to have someone who truly understands me - sides with me even when I (may) be wrong-but when we are alone we have real talks and a real connection. He is warm, loving, gentle, caring, has integrity, is truthful, and strong. Oh and did I mention funny-well he is hilarious and anyone who knows him know that! So what can I say about Matt-He is everything to me!

Nellie May Prouty-My mother-in-law, 77 years old - Matt's mom, my friend, mother of 11 children. She is an amazing women who gives everything she has to everyone around her. She is the nicest women I have ever met. She is not the normal mother in law. No matter what is happening she will not hold it against me or give unwanted advise. Her life has not always been easy and if you know her you will never hear a complaint. Did I tell you she had a hernia for 35years---she got it having her last child-Matt. It was very painful but no one would know she even had it until we all thought she had the flu and got sooo sick she ended up in the hospital. all of her organs were coming though her stomach muscle until it caused an infection and she was about to die---Did she complain??? NO-crazy-well that's our Nellie.

Marshall Arther Prouty- My Father-in-Law---Very forgetful!!!! 84 years Old and drives me crazy---But I love him very much-he has a heart that could cover Vermont! He would do anything for anybody and never complains-if you say Marshall could you-he will say yes without even hearing the rest of the sentence. He is so giving.

Bart Lee Prouty - Matt's older brother -Bart has Down's Syndrome. He is a teddy bear. I reall think that describes him perfectly. He has a streak of honry to him and just loves to try to get me - he is like a 10 year old in a 35 year old's body.

-----Let me tell you-that Nellie, Marshall and Bart have just moved in with us, now we have 9 people living in our home- we built them a home connected to ours and this is how my story has just gotten soooooooo interresting-I will tell you more about that chapter later.

Kyle Marshall Prouty - My oldest-12years old, caring, gentle, sweet, handsome, smart, and a bit hot headed like his mothe-don't tell him that !!!!!!

Paige Dianne Prouty - My princess- 10years old, loving, full of life, funny, fun to be around, cares about all she meets!

Henry Alfonzo Prouty - My 8 year old who hardly is ever seen without smile, tries really hard at piano, is content, and will do almost anything for you.

Spencer Allen Prouty - My 6 year old who always has a michevious grin,always on the run,likes the Yankees,and is going to be a Pastor when he grows up. But he is not going to stay in one place,he is going to be a traveling pastor.....


ok-boring... I will return with a funny story

Today ended up to be an ok lunch hour at Hope Cafe -- May be able to pay employees-hehe. I need to find a way to get Breakfast people in--any ideas?

Nothing is ever easy...
Well finally I have started this blog thing again---hopefully I remember my new info and can keep it up!!!!!!!!!! I will try my best to be positive and spell as many words correctly as possible! Thank you Lord that you gave some one the ability to make spellcheck!!!!!!


Anyway- obviously business is still a bit slow for me to have time to be blogging!!! So I need your prayers for people to become hungry! Beacuse I need to pay bills!!!!

Update on construction-In-Laws will be moving in Feb 1st-pray I rent their apt or sell the weight around my throat! We finally have heat-but only though part of the house and the electric keeps shutting off-I can't wait to get a washer because I am loosing friends fast! The upstairs toilett needs fixin before they rip the downstairs one out....you can imagine what that stress will be.

OK I am positive it will be ok and God does love me and I know it can be worse-I am just tired-pray for me.
